The purpose of Streamline (Kicking on Back) is to Help promote keeping the torso and hips in alignment and maintaining a narrow kick generated from your hips/core and not overbending at the knees.  Aim to keep your body position as flat as possible. Start with a tight streamline (torpedo) with one hand on top of the other and stay long. Lie back into the water, bring your hips up, and keep your hands near or under surface of water. Keep a narrow kick with knees just touching surface of water and the toes pointed just touching the surface of the water.

Helpful Tidbits:
- you can use a thumb lock to help bring your elbows more in line and streamline.
- Squeeze biceps to your head behind the ears.
- Keep your body taut and as long as possible.
- Do not make a big splash with your kick.
- Maintain a super streamline throughout the drill.
