In this video I explain a broadly how a tender evaluation works, who's in the team, what they focus on, and how to develop risk-adjusted pricing for comparing 'apples with apples'. I also mention a few rare scenarios where you might consider choosing a tender that is not the lowest risk-adjusted price.

I was inspired to do this video, and the previous one, after participating in an all day tender evaluation. This is one of the many activities that engineers and leaders may take part in, depending on their career path. It's an interesting opportunity to see the best that the private sector can offer, from clever programming and scheduling, to innovative construction methodologies and design initiatives.
