The Project Management Triangle

The Project Management Triangle is a very simple model to show that  time, cost, and quality (or scope) are three elements of a project that are in tension within one another. Generally, if the scope needs to increase, either the budget or time frame needs to increase to accommodate it. If budget is constrained, a project manager may need to consider reducing the time spent on the project, which is likely to reduce the deliverable scope.
