In today's video we teach you guys how to do a power snatch. The objective of the exercise is to improve rate of force development, which is a fancy term for how fast someone can apply force. Jumping is all about power, and if you can become strong with this exercise you will become extremely powerful and in turn jump higher!

I have seen a direct correlation between my power snatch and my vertical jump, and it's one of the exercises that I improved right before my record 50.5 inch vertical jump test.
