Easy vanilla sponge cake recipe,
Easy vanilla sponge cake recipe, If you have been on the hunt for a basic vanilla cake recipe then you are welcome, as I have just the right, easy and quick vanilla sponge cake for you. It is fluffy, light, moist and delicious #ClaudettesKitchen
Ingredients:
- 6 Eggs | P.S: (the color of eggs does not affect cooking, you can use white eggs or red eggs).
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 18 tablespoons of Sugar
- 5 tablespoons Powdered Milk
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- Zest one lemon
- 3 ½ cups Flour
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
For Baking:
- 2 tablespoons Tahini or add butter and then add flour
- Preheat Oven to 200°C , Bake for 30 minutes

How do I make my cakes light and fluffy?
To achieve extra fluffy cakes, especially when making vanilla cakes, separate the egg whites from the egg yolk, make the batter with the egg yolks, beat the egg whites separately and fold it into the batter in the end.
Which ingredient makes cake soft?
Butter cakes, like pound cakes and most layer cakes, get their soft, fine texture and moistness called a crumb by first creaming together fat and sugar, adding eggs, and slowly incorporating dry ingredients into the mixture while alternating with a liquid, such as milk or buttermilk.
What makes a cake chewy?
Flour absorbs moisture and reduces spread. Gluten strands in the flour create a chewy texture. Generally, more flour especially in conjunction with eggs makes for a more cake-like cookie.
What makes the cake soft and spongy?
When water is added to this flour to make dough, baking powder undergoes a chemical reaction during which carbon dioxide gas is produced. This carbon dioxide gas gets trapped into the dough and bubbles out which causes the cake to rise making it soft and spongy.
