Episode 10 of Fargo (FX) season 4 starts off with the gang war in Kansas City in full swing. After losing their mother, Josto and Gaetano Fadda are winning against the Cannons. Loy Cannon (Chris Rock) has to try to enlist Happy’s men from outside of the city, but there is bad blood over the beating Loy gave Leon a couple episodes ago. His wife Buel is able to talk Happy into helping, and she wants revenge for her son Satchel.

In the tenth episode Josto Fadda (Jason Schwartzman) is becoming closer with his brother Gaetano. They bond at different parts of the episode. They go after detective Odis Weff (Jack Huston) after he betrays them. They find him at home where Gaetano shoots him, only to fall discharging his gun and taking his life afterward. Both Odis and Gaetano are now dead.

Episode 10 sees Oraetta Mayflower (Jessie Buckley) go after Ethelrida (E’myri Crutchfield). She knows that Ethelrida wrote the letter to her boss, and that she knows about her trophy closet.  Oraetta tries to kill the girl, but she’s scared away by the ghost we’ve seen near the Smutnys this season. Dibrell tells her daughter that the ghost is Captain Roach, who her great-great grandfather killed on a slaving ship on his trip to America.

There is just one episode of Fargo’s fourth season left. There are a lot of unanswered questions that episodes 11 will hopefully tie up. It’s possible most of the Cannon and Fadda concerns will be wiped out, and a showdown between Oraetta and Ethelrida is expected.

This video takes a deep dive look at everything that happens in episode 10 of Fargo season 4. We discuss the new characters, and explain the story up until this point. We talk about where the fourth season might be heading, talk about our Fargo theories, and discuss Coen Brother references we noticed. Let us know in the comments what easter eggs you found and what your favorite theories are for the rest of the season.

The fourth season of Fargo, an American anthology black comedy–crime drama television series created by Noah Hawley, premiered on September 27, 2020, on FX, and will consist of 11 episodes. The season was originally scheduled to premiere on April 19, 2020, but this was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
As an anthology, each Fargo season possesses its own self-contained narrative, following a disparate set of characters in various settings and eras, albeit in a connected shared universe centered around the Midwestern United States and the titular city of Fargo, North Dakota. The fourth season is set in 1950 in Kansas City and the story follows two crime syndicates as they vie for control. The cast is led by Chris Rock, who plays Loy Cannon, the head of a crime syndicate made up of black migrants fleeing the Jim Crow South who have a contentious relationship with the Kansas City mafia. Other cast members include Jessie Buckley, Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, and Timothy Olyphant.
