We already have seen sabudana vade recipe. But today we are making sabudana appe those are a little healthier as we are not deep frying them. We are making sabudana vade in appe patra. Shravan month has started. So you can try this recipe for one of many fasting days. Drop a comment for me and do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Sabudana
• 3 cups Water
• 1 boiled, mashed Potato
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Green chili paste
• Salt to taste
• A pinch of Sugar (Optional)
• 3 tbsp roasted Peanut powder
• Oil

Method:
• Wash sabudana really good 3-4 times with water to remove starch from it.
• Add water and soak sabudana for about 30 minutes.
• Drain all the water from sabudana and soak it over night or at least for about 5-6 hours.
• Sprinkle a little water on sabudana at the intervals if you feel it is getting dry.
• Mix well and leave it for soaking.
• Transfer the soaked sabudana into a dish and add potato, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, green
 chili paste, salt, sugar, roasted peanut powder, lemon juice.
• Mix everything well together carefully. Sabudana should not lose its texture.
• Make small balls from the mixture depending on the size of appe patra you have.
• Heat up appe patra on medium heat.
• Add a little oil in each mould and place appe.
• Fry until lower side gets nicely fried.
• Rotate them once fried well from one side and fry well from all sides until these get nice golden
 color.
• When appe are fried well from all sides take the out into a dish.
• You can make about 12 appe from 1 cup sabudana.
