Hello! It's Baking again today :)
Today, I made a cheddar cheese American cookie with a very pretty natural crack, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
It's a really delicious cookie with a lot of cheddar cheese powder added to it, and the sweet and salty taste is addicting with a strong cheese flavor.

Usually, American cookies are very sweet, but I don't think this cookie is too sweet because there is plenty of macadamia in the cookie dough. Still, it's an American cookie, so it's a little sweet. please note!

This cookie is made using melted butter, so it is very easy to make. Instead, you have to harden it in the refrigerator until it is just right, so it doesn't spread too much and you can make cookies with pretty cracks.
I put it in the refrigerator for about an hour and a half and it became hard enough to make.
If you don't have an oven that can bake multiple plates at once, put the other dough in the refrigerator while the cookies are baking and bake!
Otherwise, it will become a cookie that spreads well.
Also, do not transfer the baked cookies to a cooling rack immediately, but leave them in the oven pan to cool. At first, cracks are invisible, but as they cool, cracks appear naturally.

[ Cheddar Cheese American Cookie ]

▶ Ingredients ◀ Use a 5cm scoop, for 13 pieces.
Bake at 338°F for 15-16 minutes (until the edges are golden)

125g unsalted butter
120g light brown sugar
70g white sugar
1 g of salt
1 egg (about 55g)
160 g all-purpose flour
Cheddar Cheese Powder 45g
2 g baking soda
80g macadamia (baked at 302°F for 5-7 minutes until slightly golden brown before use)


◼ Please be prepared ◼
- Prepare all ingredients at room temperature
- Bake macadamia nuts at 302°F for 5-7 minutes until slightly golden brown before use
- After melting the butter in the microwave, cool it down to 104°F before use.


■ Storage method ■
- Cookies are the most crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside when they are baked in the oven and eaten right away.
- After cooling completely, wrap it up and eat it with a chewy taste overall.
- Chewy texture is best when left at room temperature. Refrigeration is not recommended as cookies will harden if placed in the refrigerator.
- Please keep it at room temperature. Or, thaw and eat after refrigeration.
- It can be stored up to 3 days at room temperature and up to 3 weeks in the freezer.
