Chaurasi Temple (84 temples )
The famous Chaurasi temple (84 temples) in Bharmour region of Himachal Pradesh is built during 10th to 12th century AD by King Meru Verma of Chamba state region which is now presently Chamba district.
Main temple is dedicated God Shiva. Other temples are for Deity Dharamraj and Chitragupt
Best Season to Visit
Best season to visit Bharmour region is upto the month of October or late by Mid last week of month of November. After that upto the month March it have harsh winters with heavy snowfall in all over the region.
Precaution :
Carry warm woollen clothes in all season. And carry heavy woollen clothes if visiting in the month of October to Mid / last week of month of November .
Public Transport
Bharmour Town is well connected with Chamba, Dharamshala , Kangra , Palampur and Dalhousie by Govt.HRTC Bus service as well as by Private bus service.
For Local sight seeing like upto Kugti Village recommended to hire a Jeep/taxi from Bharmour
(Govt.and Private bus services are on timley basis to Kugti village)
