Journey's in Himachal Ep-5 | Monsoon Season Series Jispa to Baralacha Pass I
My Journey has started from Jispa to Baralacha Pass in Lahaul Valley.
One of the famous Mountain Pass in Himalayas on Leh & Ladahk National Highway. This Pass is in state of Himachal Pradesh
Below to the Pass there is a Beautiful lake called Suraj Tal. Originating source of Bhaga River.
Tourist can return on same day to Manali from Baralacha Pass, if they wish, as after opening of Atal tunnel brings boon to all people by saving time on journey, earlier by going through Rohtang pass was time consuming and one can never plan to return same to Manali.
- Last Fuel Filling Station Petrol Pump/Gas Station at Tandi Village only.
- Public Transport : Keylong township has good connectivity from major township of Himachal
Pradesh as well as from Delhi.
Himachal Government Transport Service - HRTC -has recently started a Luxury Volvo Bus Service from Delhi to Keylong .

- For In and Around visit :(For those not travelling with there own vehicle)
Can Hire a Taxi/Jeep from Keylong . Ask Hotel/Guest House staff /owner to arrange . Kindly Negotiate the rate.
- Food : Small Dhabas/Cafes/Resturants are all the ways for breakfast lunch and dinner/Tea and Snacks. Keylong, Jispa, Dharcha and Zing-Zing Bar. And in Trilokinath and Udayapur.
- Stays/Hotels/Guest House /Homestays
If want to stay there in Lahaul valley , I will recommend to stay at Keylong , Jispa or Sissu Village . Keylong has a Hotel run by Himachal Tourism Department (HP Govt.)
