Business Rule For Hajj Leave - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
It is mandatory to perform this journey once in a lifetime, companies provide the privilege of Hajj Leave to be applied in the system. There are certain conditions that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for this leave.
Hajj Leave is usually configured for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other related countries. There are usually three rule functions that are involved in the creation of a Hajj Leave.
Get Number of Absences for Period for Time Types() – This rule function calculates the number of absences of a list of time types within a given period. If an absence overlaps partially with the period provided in the start and end date it is still considered. This rule function takes 4 parameters as input. They are User, Start Date, End Date and Time Types.
Difference in Years Round Down() – It calculates the time difference between two dates in calendar years. The days and months of the date are also taken into account for the calculation. The result is rounded down to calendar years.
Get Number of Calendar Days() - It calculates the number of calendar days between a start date and end date. Both the Start Date and the End Date are included when the calculation is done. It takes two parameters as input. First is the “Start Date”, which is the start date of the period you want to calculate and the second is the “End Date” which is the end date of the period you want to calculate.
