Abstract acrylic painting includes various acrylic painting techniques. One of them is the squeegee technique with oil paints made popular by Gerhard Richter. Since I like to paint with acrylics, I show the squeegee technique with acrylics in this video. In the process, I mix my own structural paste from glitter, an effect medium, acrylic binder and water and apply it as an underpainting to my square canvas. The finished acrylic painting will be one of my "upcycling series", which is exhibited on the website https://www.balthasart.com/de/k%C3%BC.... Various layers of Payne's Grey, graphite, reflex rosé, ultramarine, pearl blue and pewter follow, so that at the end of the painting process a beautiful abstract acrylic painting has been created using the squeegee technique.
