In this video, I lay out exactly how I planned my triathlon training. (Cycling, Running, Swimming, and Strength Training)

I also discuss exactly what equipment I used and my strategy for nutrition.

Ironman Cycling Training:

I followed the Trainer Road Half Distance High Volume Plan for my training. This was a TON of cycling volume and it really drove my functional threshold power up a ton throughout training.

Ironman Swimming Training:

I followed the Trainer Road Half Distance Swimming plan. I swam in a lap pool an average of 2-3X/ week throughout training.

Ironman Running Training:

I followed a high volume training plan for running and overdid it. I ended up with IT band syndrome that sidelined me for quite a while and ultimately caused me to have to walk the last 5 miles of the race. I discuss this more in the video.
