Welcome to learn how to belly dance with Mee - the 5mins belly dance tutorial series.
In the 5mins bellydance, we focus on the technical aspect of belly dancing. Our purpose is for you to get a quick study on how certain techniques are used and applied in the dance. We also ends the short tutorial video with a simple practice dance combinations of the technique taught to let you practice them at home. Please do note that, learning through videos are not a replacement to a regular belly dance class, as in class, you'll get immediate feedbacks from your teacher. However, use these videos as additional guidelines and practices for you to complement your classes.

TODAY's TOPIC/TECHNIQUE(S)
I know it's been awhile since, I've uploaded any instructional videos. The haze in my country was pretty bad for the past 3 weeks & only recently the haze has gone & I finally have fresh air & blue skies to enjoy, again!! Thus, am back into the mood of working on my videos! 😅

Starting from this week, I'll be working on combo techniques! Which means, techniques from now on will usually combine a basic technique with another to create a new technique. I hope it makes sense.

This week, I'm sharing on a combo technique which I call Hip Drop Kicks. It's a combine work of the basic hip drop with a release of the leg or extension of the knee.. not really a kick though, but, I use it to simplify the term, as the word "release" is long & "kick" is shorter, thus easier to use. 😄

I'm also sharing in this video, a few variations that usually comes with this technique & hope that it will benefit you when you put them into your dance.
