LOCAL & DOMESTIC GIVING | MEDWISH INTERNATIONAL

We often focus on the great lengths MedWish International will go to repurpose and support those in need. International is part of our name! But Cleveland is home. And Cleveland is also in need.

For years, MedWish has received countless calls for medical equipment from our neighbors. In 2018, we expanded our scope of support to include the local community and those across the United States. The Local & Domestic Giving Program was born. It’s a natural extension of our services.

Barbara Anderson is the founder of Another Chance of Ohio, where her free shops and services give many low-income Clevelanders another shot at life.

“We went to MedWish, and they literally filled us up. Because MedWish gives, because they give us the sanitizer, because they give us the soaps, because they give us the socks, We don't know how much we prevented,” she says, “Because MedWish gives, Another Chance of Ohio is able to give.

Wheelchairs, crutches, canes, adult diapers, and more all provide life-changing support for the person that needs them. With the help of our local nonprofit partners and social service agencies, we are able to identify needs. This allows us to get critically needed supplies and equipment into the hands of those who need them most, helping medically marginalized populations ten and ten thousand miles away from our Cleveland warehouse.
