Having spent a few days in Leh, it was time to rent a real motorbike and head into the Nubra Valley. This is almost as remote as you can get in India, and it requires crossing the amazing Khardung Pass, what was until recently the highest drivable pass in the world!

Our Royal Enfield 350 easily conquered the amazing roads both up to the pass, and then down into the stunning Shayok and Nubra Valleys. We had to stop at the top of course, managing to cope with the altitude sickness just long enough for some selfies.

After a late lunch in Diskit we found our beautiful guesthouse in Hunder, and were ready to spend the next couple of days exploring this incredible part of the world.
