A flight, an overnight in
A flight, an overnight in Delhi, a train ride and a bus trip and we found ourselves in Pushkar. Pushkar is a small town surrounding a holy lake, a site of constant pilgrimages from around India. The lake is surrounded by bathing ghats making for some great photo opportunities, and lots of exploring.
We really enjoyed a few days here just relaxing, exploring the interesting shopping streets and trying lots of food of course. The highlight was a gondola ride up a nearby hill where there are stunning views of this pretty lake in its unique location.

Al, from New Zealand and Kel from Australia met through work in 2010 and have been together ever since. Always infected by the travel bug they finally decided to head off on an adventure and started with Vietnam and Laos before heading to Sri Lanka, India, then Cambodia and Indonesia.
