Fall. O pagkahulog kay baby. First aide: comfort the patient and apply cold compress intermittently over the injured site. Paracetamol oral meds may be given every 6 hours, however ibuprofen should not be given!!
Parts of the head involved in head injury are: bony skull vault, cerebrospinal fluid, brain tissue. Any shaking will cause injury to the brain tissue which also contains blood vessels and nerves. Watch out for: loss of consciousness, vomiting, confusion, seizures, worsening headache. Obtain consult with physician asap. Thank you!
