Today we are preparing a wonderful sugar paste based on gelatin. This is a simple recipe and you can make such gumpaste at home. Easy gumpaste recipe.
Recipe step by step. We will need: fine powdered sugar 100 g, and 400 g, gelatin 10 g (200 bloom), water at room temperature 25 g, CMC (tylose) (5 g), glucose syrup or honey 40 g, coconut oil or crisco (10 g), egg white (33 g).
Plastic scraper, whipping bowl and whisk.
I store sugar paste in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
