Today, I made a two-flavored butter bar with a chewy texture.
I made a basic butter bar with lots of butterscotch flavor and a cheddar cheese butter bar that perfectly balances the sweet and salty taste.

The original recipe uses a sheet with yeast, but I used cookie dough with a crunchy texture.

This must be eaten cold. That way, you can feel the unique chewy texture of the butter bar!
Personally, I recommend eating frozen. 😁 I freeze it in the freezer and thaw it at room temperature for 5 minutes, then eat it with Americano. It's really delicious!

▶ Material ◀ ( 16.5x16.5cm square pan )


[ Cookie Sheet (Common) ]
Preheat 356℉(180℃), bake at 338℉(170℃) for 20 minutes (using smeg oven)

95g cake flour
15g almond powder
25 g sugar
1 g of salt
65g unsalted butter (cut into small dices and prepare cold)


1. [ Basic Butter Bar ]
Preheat 338℉(170℃), bake at 320℉(160℃) for 33-34 minutes

140g unsalted butter
155 g light brown sugar
1.5g salt (1g + 1g, then add half)
40g starch syrup
40 g eggs
2 g vanilla extract
120 g all-purpose flour


2. [ Cheddar Cheese Butter Bar ]
Preheat 338℉(170℃), bake at 320℉(160℃) for 36 minutes

140g unsalted butter
155 g light brown sugar
40g starch syrup
40 g eggs
2 g vanilla extract
105 g all-purpose flour
Cheddar Cheese Powder 40g
13g Parmesan Cheese Powder

9 cheese crackers
Cheese Pretzel Snack (optional)
