NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Philles 4005) and (Philles X-EP) Recorded at Gold Star Recording Studios in Hollywood on September 14, 1963 this one of the two tracks by Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans included on the historic Christmas LP originally issued by Philles Records in 1963. 'The Bells of St. Mary's' would be reissued the following year on that in 1964 as well as its inclusion on a promotional four track EP 7 inch disc which also came with a picture sleeve. A 'Wall of Sound' masterpiece featuring the soaring tenor lead vocals of Bobby Sheen with backing vocals by Fanita James & Darlene Love. The stunning, dense music track builds to a climactic finale with drum fills on the outro by Hal Blaine which are sheer perfection.
