In this episode I provide the history of the Buick Regal, starting as a top trim level for the reintroduced Buick Century in 1973, then later splitting from the Century to remain on GM's rear-wheel-drive G-body platform and offer the high-performance Grand National and GNX. It would later go back to joining the front-wheel-drive Century again but be the more luxury and higher performance option. Its final iteration was a rebadged Opel built in Germany, and never sold nearly as well as all of Buick's crossovers, leading to the Regal's death by the end of the 2020 model year.
