In this episode I provide the history of the Pontiac Grand Prix, which started in 1962 as a two-door luxury-themed coupe, and was a popular personal luxury coupe during the 70's and 80's. In 1988 it switched from a rear-wheel-drive body-on-frame to front-wheel-drive unibody, and focused more on performance, with several limited-run models, including one with a new turbo from ASC McLaren. The Grand Prix lasted 7 generations, ending in 2007, and was replaced by the Australian-built G8, which itself only lasted 2 model years before the Pontiac brand was discontinued with GM's bankruptcy.
