in this video I had discussed about general consideration of enzymes isolation. enzymes are protein molecule with high molecular weight. enzymes have protein structure .they have active site to bind the substrate .
for production of microbial enzyme following steps-
1)  isolation of microorganism
2) strain improvement
3) inoculum preparation
4)  culturing and
5) processing
isolation of microorganism- in this microorganisms are isolated with different methods by selective media , by staining technique so that we can isolate our desired microorganism from different others microorganisms.
2)  strain development- different mutagens are introduced like ultraviolet rays X rays infrared rays and different chemical treatment like mustard gas etc.
3) inoculum preparation-  microorganism is introduced into sterilized culture media in
4) culture process- two culturing are used submerged culturing and semisolid culturing
in semisolid culturing -the microorganism is introduced into agar containing media,  different kinds of nutrients also introduced so that microbial growth is initiated,  after introducing the microorganism into semi-solid media then media is transfer into incubator for proper time and temperature
in submerged culturing microbes grow in fermenter .
fermenter is a cylindrical device which contain nutrient media and it is a automatic process.
5) processing -in processing recovery and purification are included.  it is known as downstream processing for this cell debris is and nucleic acids are removed by filtration and centrifugation.  after that nucleic acids are removed by adding poly cations such as polyamines and polyethyleneimine , after that liquid-liquid partition is performed and finally enzyme is separated by chromatography method for drying process film evaporators,  fridge dryers( lyophilizer ) are used and then enzymes are packed for marketed.
