Judaism is the oldest monotheistic religion in the world, dating back nearly 4,000 years. The followers of Judaism believe in one God who revealed Himself to a certain group of people, the Israelites.

Christianity is rooted in Judaism of the Second Temple period, but the two groups diverged after the destruction of the temple, in the  first century. Christianity focuses on New Covenant as mediated through Jesus Christ. They also believe that Jesus is the Messiah as promised in the Old Covenant, and also, Jesus fulfilled what was written in the TANAK or Hebrew Bible.
