Hi guys
Today I made basic butter cookies.
This is a really tasty cookie you were looking for.

I wanted to make a delicious recipe, so I continued to test butter cookies for almost a week.
Depending on the proportion of the ingredients, the texture is so diverse that I was really confused about which one is the best and what tastes better.

I have tested over 500 cookies for this recipe,
This is the most delicious recipe in my opinion.
It doesn't shatter too weakly but has moderate rigidity.
And it doesn't feel too heavy, hard or powdery.
I also made a variation of chocolate flavor and matcha flavor,
However, the plain flavor is the most delicious because the butter has the richest flavor.

* Milk powder can be replaced with skim milk powder and can be omitted. However, if omitted, it may be slightly less delicious than when added.
* Corn starch can be replaced with wheat flour and sugar powder can be replaced with granulated sugar, but it is recommended to make it as it is because the texture of the cookie will be very different.

▶Ingredients (Makes about 40 cookies each)

[Plain flavor]
113g  Unsalted butter
65g  Powdered sugar
30g  Eggs
145g  Cake flour  
40g  Corn starch  
8g  Whole milk powder  
2g  Salt  
2g  Vanilla extract  

[Chocolate flavor]
113g  Unsalted butter
65g  Powdered sugar
30g  Eggs
120g  Cake flour
40g  Corn starch
8g  Whole milk powder
20g  Cocoa powder
2g  Salt
2g  Vanilla extract

[Matcha flavor]
113g  Unsalted butter
65g  Powdered sugar
30g  Eggs
123g  Cake flour
40g  Corn starch
8g  Whole milk powder
13g  Matcha powder
2g  Salt
2g  Vanilla extract


1) Lightly loosen the soft butter placed at room temperature.
2) Add salt and sugar powder and whisk until creamy.
3) When the sugar powder is gently mixed, add eggs and vanilla extract at room temperature that are not cold and mix them in 2-3 times.
4) Sieve all the flour ingredients and mix with a spatula.
5) After marking the sheet with a circle of 5cm in diameter, pipe it into a ring shape with a star-shaped piping tip.
6) Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius 12 minutes (320 degrees Fahrenheit). (Unox Convection Oven)


* Storage: When left at opened space, it quickly becomes soggy. After completely cooling it, seal it in opp vinyl or food containers with silica gel. Stored in a cool room, except in the summer, you can store it for about 5 days, and freeze it for longer storage. (Can be stored for more than 1 month)
