K3EDTA is a liquid solution in the Vacutainer Tubes
K2EDTA is a liquid solution that is spray coated onto the interior surface of the Vacutainer Tube single use, evacuated, sterile blood collection tube
Serum Vacutainers (Red Cap)
Serum tubes are used to obtain a serum sample.
The minimum recommended clotting time for serum tubes for patients without anticoagulant is: 60 minutes

Plasma Tubes (Heparin)
Plasma Tubes (Heparin)Kemico Plasma tubes contain Sodium or Lithium Heparin and are used to obtain plasma samples.

Glucose Preservation TubesKemico Sodium Fluoride/Potassium Oxalate tubes are used for glucose determinations. The tubes are available in plastic and identified by a grey cap.
