coconut cookies along with step-by-step instructions:
Ingredients:
250 gm vanaspati ( dalda, butter,Margarine , or ghee)
125 gm Icing Sugar
3gm Salt
300 gm Flour
50 gm Coconut Powder
Milk 50ml
[50 gm extra Coconut Powder for coating]
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 250g of margarine with 125 gm of icing sugar. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add 3 gm of salt to the vanaspati and sugar mixture and mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix together 300 gm of flour and 50gm coconut powder
Gradually add the flour mixture to the sugar and vanaspati mixture. Mix until a dough forms.?
Take small portions of the dough, about 20 gm each, and shape them into small cookie rounds.
Roll each cookie in the extra 50 gm of coconut powder for coating.
Place the coated cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
Bake in the preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 16-20 minutes or until the cookies turn golden brown around the edges
Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
Your delicious coconut cookies are ready to be enjoyed!
