Dushyant Kumar was well aware of the voice, fire buried in the hearts of those people who had indignation & agitation but did not have courage. He became the voice of such people & became the resentment for such a society. He became the courage of such a class and it’s the effect of his pen that even today all his writings are very much relevant.
Long Live Dushyant Kumar, the famous poet & ghazal writer who was born on September 1, 1933 in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. He died of a heart attack at just 42 years old but even at such a young age, Dushyant Kumar wrote such compositions that became immortal.
Dushyant Kumar started with poems of love in the name of Pardesi during the initial years of his writings but later started writing in his own name. If everything went on as it started, then perhaps Dushyant Kumar's name would have been popularized as one of best Hindi love poets.

आज संदूक से वो ख़त तो निकालो यारो
रहनुमाओं की अदाओं पे फ़िदा है दुनिया
इस बहकती हुई दुनिया को सँभालो यारो
कैसे आकाश में सूराख़ हो नहीं सकता
एक पत्थर तो तबीयत से उछालो यारो
लोग कहते थे कि ये बात नहीं कहने की
तुमने कह दी है तो कहने की सज़ा लो यारो
