Goan Style Bhendi Curry. Quick & Easy recipe. Enjoy the curry with rice, chapati or Neer dosa.

Ingredients:
• 8 to 10 Chopped Lady Finger / Okra / Bhendi
• 3 to 4 Kokam
• 7 to 8 Tepla / Teffal berries or Sichuan pepper
For Masala
• 1 Cup Grated Coconut
• 1 Tbsp Coriander Seeds.
• 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder.
• 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder / Haldi.
• A Small Piece of Tamarind.
• Salt to Taste.

Method:

• Grind the masala to a fine paste by adding little water
• Boil one cup of water. Add Kokam and Okra / Bhendi.
• Crush 7 to 8 Tepla and add to the boiling water.
• Cover and let it cook on low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
• Now add salt to taste and mix well.
• Its time to add the grounded masala and some water. Adjust the gravy consistency accordingly.
• Cover and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
• Serve this yummy recipe with hot rice and some potato kapa / Phodi.
