How To Make Paneer Butter Masala | Paneer Recipes | Restaurant Style Paneer Masala Recipe

Ingredients –

Preparation

Paneer – 200 gm
Red chilly powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Black pepper – ¼ tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Water – 1

Masala gravy

Onion – 2 medium (chopped)
Tomato – 1 puree
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Kashmiri  chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Coriander – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½  tsp
Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Dry red chilly – 2
Besan (gram flour) – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – chopped (garnishing)

Preparation

1. Cut 200 gm of paneer into cubes
2. Take a bowl and add paneer cubes additionally add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder, black pepper powder and sprinkle some water and mix it nicely & gently
3. Keep the mixture aside for 10 to 15 minutes

Directions

1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil and add the paneer marination
2. Fry the paneer cubes for 1 min on high flame or till it slightly brown from each side.
3. Take it out and keep aside
4. In another pan heat  2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of ghee
5. Then add 1 bay leaf and 2 broken whole dry red chilly and dry roast
6. Now add 1 tsp of cumin powder and allow it to splutter
7. Further add chopped onions and fry it till golden
8. Now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and kasuri methi. Fry the masala for 2 minute on medium flame
9. Then add a dash of water and mix well
10. Now add the besan and sauté for 2 minute on low flame
11. Further add tomato puree and cook for 2 minute on medium flame
12. Add 1 cup of water and mix the masala well and cover it for 5 minute in low flame
13. Then add the fried paneer cubes and garam masala. Mix well
14. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, chapattis or naan
