An explosive leak of Google’s internal documents suggests the tech giant may have been deceiving the public for years about optimizing content for search. According to SparkToro’s Rand Fishkin, the documents detail Google’s search API and the types of data factored into its ranking algorithms. But CMI's Robert Rose says it’s probably not a good idea to take anything from this data as actionable SEO advice.
