Cheese Flan (Old School Dinners)

This retro Cheese Flan was requested by many people almost all telling me it was a memory from their School Dinners in the 1950's & 60's.
As I never experienced school dinners I had to do some serious research into this recipe.
RECIPE
Short crust pastry (Either make your own or use shop bought) Below is a link to my pastry recipes.
4 large Eggs
200g Grated cheese (I used a mature cheddar)
150mls Single cream
Salt & Pepper to taste
