Nachani Idli Recipe -  नाचणी इडली
Ingredients:

For Idli Batter
½ cup Black Gram Lentil (soaked)
1 cup Idli Rava (soaked)
Coriander leaves
2 Green Chillies (chopped)
Salt as per taste
1 Carrot (grated)
1 tbsp Oil
½ tsp Mustard seeds
7-8 Curry leaves
1 cup Finger Millet Flour
¾ cup Water
¼ tsp Soda
Water (for steaming)
½ a Lemon
Oil (for greasing)

For Chutney-
4 tbsp Coconut (grated)
1 Garlic Clove
1 Green Chilli
Coriander Leaves
Salt as per taste
Juice of ½ a Lemon
Water as per required

Idli or idly are a type of savoury rice cake, originating from the Indian subcontinent, popular as breakfast foods in Southern India and in Sri Lanka. The cakes are made by steaming a batter consisting of fermented black lentils (de-husked) and rice. The fermentation process breaks down the starches so that they are more readily metabolised by the body.

Idli has several variations, including rava idli, which is made from semolina. Regional variants include sanna of Konkan.
