Moog uttapam

Moog uttapam or moong dhirde is a very healthy , easy and tasty recipe for breakfast or snacks. To make it more crispy and tasty ,here we have added few more ingredients that has also given more healthy twist to these uttapam/dhirde

INGREDIENTS:
1. Moog (soaked overnight) 1 cup
* u can also take sprouted moog
2. Green chillies 3
3. Jeera 1 tsp
4. Rice flour 3 tsp
5. Rava 3 tsp
6. Ginger 1 inch
7. Oil and water
8. Turmeric powder
9. Salt to taste
10.corriander leaves
11. Finely chopped 1 onion, 1 tomamto and 1 capsicum.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take sprouted moog or unsprouted overnight soaked moog. Add it in a mixer jar alongiwth green chillies, jeera ,small pieces of ginger and 1 cup water. Grind it well to make a smooth thick batter.
2. Now pour it into a bowl. Add rice flour , rava and salt as per taste into it. Mix it well. Add little water if required .Make sure there is no lumps and batter should be thick like a pan cake batter. Keep aside to rest for 10 mins.
3. Now heat up the non stick pan. Take 1 tbp of batter and start making dhirde/uttapam. Spread evenly in a circle shape.
4. Immediately add few chopped onion. Tomato, capsicum or carrot and corriander leaves on top of it. Slightly Press all the veggies with the help of spatula.
5. Drizzle some oil around dhirde and also put few drops on top of it. Cover the lid and let it cook for 1 to 2 mins.
6. Turn the uttapam carefully and again cover the lid and let it cook from other side also. It should be cooked till golden brown from both sides
8. Make all uttapam like this and serve it with tomato sauce or any chutney.
