The difference comes down to the customer's preference in how often they would like to be checked on during the meal.
Learning the difference between over checking and under checking on your guests in the restaurant is a little more of a science than an art form, the longer you are a server, the better you will get at it!
In this video, you will find my rule of thumb for different kinds of parties such as family diners, solo diners, business groups and couples. You will learn to handle each one a little differently and how to read their expectations.
