Drum Restoration/Refinishing II

I use "Restoration" loosely here because what was given to me was a drum set that was in pieces and in quite terrible condition, so refinishing wouldn't quite ascribe to it the amount of work and transformation that took place. But yea, you can call it refinishing or repainting or whatever you'd like. I've been sitting on this project for so long (due to availability) that when I finally could start on it, I was so excited that I kept forgetting to take proper footage or even photos. So I put together what I could to kinda document the journey... hope you enjoy it!

Because of the blemishes, I couldn't go for a stain this time. But I didn't want it to look like any other painted drumset. I'm glad it turned out exactly the way I imagined it to!!

I really enjoyed the process, although it took many many many many hours, and was a bit more expensive than I expected it to be (because of hiccups along the way). I'm nonetheless glad I managed to finish this before I left for my semester exchange : )
