I'll be splitting up this series into the bite-sized chunks above so that it's easier for any of you guys check out if you actually want to start on a similar project. Its recorded in more of a vlog-ish way rather than a pure instructional because I was finding my way as well!
This is just an introduction video to the series, the rest will be more tutorial-like. here's a breakdown of what to expect in this part of the series :)

Items you will need to complete the steps in this part:
- Small Plank of Wood
- Wood dye/stain
(I will explain and demonstrate how I apply the stain in part 5)
Disclaimer: I'm not a professional myself and while i hope for this series to be as helpful as possible, its my first time so feel free to ask me anything that's unclear. I'll try my best to help where i can :)
Also, my head is kinda chopped off in most of the videos cause im using my phone's camera and im not very good at this videoing thing. hahaha. apologies if it irritates you.
