You are not your or trauma or story. Kriya releases these emotions. Negativity is not ignored or focused on. Instead they dissolve with breath work and tapping.

"There is a river of joy flowing inside you. Find it, go there, get in and drown." Quote by Paramahansa Yogananda, Indian monastic and yogi.

Yogananda was the author of the book 'Autobiography of a Yogi' where Kriya Yoga is mentioned often. Kriya was a closely guarded practice passed from guru to disciple, descended from Mahavatar Babaji.

Today's variation of Kriya has been transformed to suit the restless over thinkers of our time. Meditation happens without trying. With great gratitude to Mahavatar Babaji.

During your practice, it is normal to feel like coughing, burping, vomiting, yawning, laughing, crying, vocalizing. Your body is wanting to release. Do not hold it in, let it all out.

If after or during Kriya practice you feel lightheaded or ungrounded lay on the ground on your belly with your forehead touching the earth, or come into the yoga posture called child pose and after practice eating may be suitable.

The effects of Kriya can last 24 hours. After a practice one may feel reborn or strong emotions are wanting to pass through and leave. Sleep may be sound or weird dreams etc.

I'm Xiu Lei (pronounced C U Lay) born and raised in California. I am American born of Chinese decent. At the age of 49 I moved to Australia and began my yoga travels. It's been 12 years now on the road mostly in Europe and south east Asia with teaching yoga at resorts and yoga retreat centers paving my way.

Discovering Himalayan Kriya Yoga in Bali in 2022, it was a turning point. Life was especially challenging and my emotions lead me by a chain. Kriya had a dynamic effect on my well being; I became lighter. Having never experienced anything so powerful I was passionate to continue the Kriya journey.

Since starting Kriya teacher training in Bali and India I had a deep seeded passion to become a teacher, specifically on the platform of YouTube. So yes, Kriya looks weird but If it can benefit me so greatly it could assists others. Please join me on this journey!
