Today, I made a baked chestnut bread with lots of sweet chestnuts and lots of crunchy streusel!
The bread is so moist and soft that it tastes really happy when you eat it with a glass of milk.
I like streusel, so I put plenty of soboro and baked it. Crispy and savory, it's really delicious!

I made the chestnuts that go inside the bread and put them in. That's why I think it tastes better!

Preheat 338°F (170°C), bake at 320°F (160°C) for 28-30 minutes.


[ Bread dough ]

135g of milk
25g sugar
5g salt
4g instant dry yeast
25g eggs
225g bread flour
30g unsalted butter


About 250g chestnut in syrup


[ Soboro(streusel) ]

30g unsalted butter
10g Peanut Butter
40g sugar
5g starch syrup
1 pinch salt
10g eggs
70g cake flour
1g baking powder
25g almond powder

- Store at room temperature. Store up to 2 days at room temperature and freezer beyond that. Refrigeration is not recommended.
