Thank you for watching my new video. My backdrop this week is the beautiful gardens of the National Trusts Attingham Park in Shropshire.

The gardens to me are always beautiful here but I spent time observing the garden in winter to inspire me to paint. Inspiration can be found everywhere, we just need to pay attention. The leaves and seed pods, the dried flower heads, in the darkness there is hope and life.

January here in the northern hemisphere can be so dark and days are short, and here in Wales wet. Its is hard to feel awake when our bodies require rest  ready for the coming spring, just as so much of nature.
