Guava Cheese also known as 'Perad' is a classic Goan sweet made during Christmas. It is a slightly chewy sweet fudge made with fresh ripe guavas, sugar, lemon juice and other ingredients. Care should be taken to see that the guavas are not overripe because if they are overripe the pectin changes to peptic acid, which is of no use in jelly formation. A very delicious treat especially for children

Guava - 600 Grams ( 2 Cups of Guava pulp )
Granulated Sugar - 2 Cups
Lemon - 1 and Half
Red Food Colour - 3 Drops
Butter - 1 Tbsp
