Dried or candied fruits, various nuts and spices are soaked in wine or rum for a period of six months or more and then added to the batter to make a very delicious mouthwatering cake. Without compromising on the taste and rich flavors, texture and moistness of the cake, I have brought for my Precious Viewers a non alcoholic variant in which I have used orange juice.
