In this episode I provide the history of the Ford Crown Victoria, a model name first used briefly in the 1950's, then as the top trim line for the 1980-82 Ford LTD. Transitioning to its own model in 1992, the Crown Vic would gain most of its popularity to police departments, eventually switching only to fleet sales by 2008, and finally discontinued along with the entire Panther platform line by 2011.
