Chinese style boiled edamame is different from the well-known Japanese style edamame, as Chinese style is further cooked and spice-infused. Sometimes we call it five spice edamame 五香毛豆. This irresistible easy vegan edamame recipe is flavored with star anise, chili peppers, sichuan pepper, sesame oil and salt. Healthy and delicious, you should try it!
Ingredients:
250g frozen edamame in pods
3 star anise
1 tsp sichuan pepper
4 dried chili peppers
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vegetable oil
