Dr. McQuillan has taught at St. Mary’s University since 2012. His research concerns the history of modern European philosophy, especially the history of aesthetics and the critical philosophy of Immanuel Kant. He is the author or editor of five books as well as numerous articles and reviews. In 2018-2019, Dr. McQuillan was a visiting scholar at the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
