Val-Zod ( Superman ) is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is the second person to take on the mantle of Superman on Earth-2. Created by Tom Taylor (Injustice, DCeased, and Superman: Son of Kal-El) and Nicola Scott (Birds of Prey and Blackest Night: Wonder Woman), Val-Zod made his debut in 2014 in Earth-2 #25.
Famous American actor, director and producer. actor Michael B. Jordan is suspected to lead a spin-off untitled Val-Zod series in the DCEU slated for HBO Max sometime in the future.
Val-Zod is one of three other named black men from different universe that carry the mantle of Superman which includes, Calvin Ellis ( Earth 23 ), Harvey Dent (Earth-9) and Sunshine Superman (Earth 47).
