Knitting garter stitch pattern in rounds on circular needles is perfect for infinity scarves, hats or socks.
It is recommended to use a marker for at least a couple of rounds/rows, especially when you are just starting to learn this garter stitch technique or you are starting to learn how to knit on circular needles.
Knitting Garter stitch in rounds you have to switch/transfer from knits to purles every round/row and vice versa.
You'll notice a ridge at the place where you are switching/transferring from purles to knits in your work. This ridge looks like a seam in your knitwork.
Usually, when you work in rounds knitting other patterns, such as purles or knits you have to stick to them until you reach the desired length but with knitting garter stitch you have to pay attention to transferring patterns every row/round.
