With this piece I honor
With this piece I honor and cherish the memory of my dear friend and music colleague Minegishi Issui (1968-2023), a pioneering champion of the rare one-string zither ichigenkin. She brought so much joy and musical beauty into my life. During the past 10 years I was privileged to perform with her and the exemplary shakuhachi player and composer Elizabeth Brown as Trio Getsuro.
