Relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan
Relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan have always been good, but the most important cooperation steps were taken with the conquest of Baku. While the Ottoman Empire was in the War of Independence, its biggest supporter was Azerbaijan. Turkey did not forget this support of Azerbaijan when it was founded, it became the first country to recognize the independent Azerbaijan. Military cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan has grown more and more with each passing day.
